Auto dealer Hudson claims spot in NBSC building and other business happenings

Hudson Management Services, Inc., which provides management services to affiliated automobile dealerships and commercial real estate holdings, has moved into the 1,500 square foot first floor space in the Daniel Island NBSC building formerly occupied by Morgan Stanley. Eric Meyer of Meyer Kapp & Associates LLC handled the leasing arrangement, and though Hudson has signed a twelve-month lease, the company plans to stay on Daniel Island, in the NBSC building or another location, for many years to come. Owner and Daniel Island resident David Hudson currently operates Hudson Nissan in North Charleston, as well as four other dealerships in the southeast, with plans to expand the Hudson automotive portfolio.
Agave Mexican Restaurant plans to open in June
Putting the finishing touches on the space at 885 Island Park Drive, restauranteur Armando Navarro is gearing up to open the doors of Agave Mexican Restaurant next month. Look for more details on this new 3,500 square foot Daniel Island eatery in an upcoming issue.
Move to larger DI space will accommodate growth of Palmetto Surety
Palmetto Surety will be moving out of its existing location in the Daniel Island First Citizen's building this summer. The bail bonding and bond underwriting firm has signed a lease to commence July 15 at 109 River Landing, Suite 200. The new office space will provide approximately 500 more square feet, allowing Palmetto Surety to expand from its current ten employees as business continues to grow. Reggie Bell of Colonial Commercial Group, based in Greenville, brokered the lease deal.
