We offer Free online classifieds with the purchase of a classified ad in the newspaper! Simply pay the rate for the newspaper classified ad, and receive as a bonus your classified ad placed free on our website during the week(s) it run(s) in the paper.

To run a classified in The Daniel Island News, call Jan Marvin at 843-856-1999 or e-mail your classified ad to jan@thedanielislandnews.com. Please let us know how many weeks your ad is to run.

To compute the cost of your classified ad, use the rates shown below or call or e-mail to have the pricing calculated for you. You can call 843-856-1999 with your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card information or mail/drop off a check to our office made payable to:

$10 for up to 20 words. 5 cents for each additional word

Classified Display Ad Rates (up to 6 columns wide)

Open rate	$15.00 per column inch
4 week rate	$14.25 per column inch
12 week rate	$13.50 per column inch
26 week rate	$12.00 per column inch
52 week rate	$10.50 per column inch

• Classified Display ads are based on a 6 column format. Columns are 1.75 inches wide.
• Display ads include a minimum 2 pt. border around the ad.
• The ad must be a minimum 1 column wide by 2 inches high.
• Maximum height is 13.25 inches.
