DINA seeks officers and
The Daniel Island Neighborhood Association (DINA) works because our members are involved and pro-active. We have accomplished many important tasks this year and have every reason to believe this momentum will continue. We are actively seeking DI residents to self-nominate for leadership positions in 2014. Our current board members and committee chairs are ready, willing and able to assist you in learning how your strengths can become Daniel Island’s strengths. Please consider stepping forward for a position on our team. It may not be the perfect time, but it’s a good time to get involved. Or in the words of Lemony Snicket: “If we wait until we’re ready, we’ll be waiting for the rest of our lives.”
DINA’s upcoming leadership opportunities begin at our January 7, 2014 meeting and extend throughout 2014. They are: President; Vice President; Secretary; Treasurer; and six key committee Chairs: Membership; Safety; Planning & Zoning; Trees; Website & Social Media; Exploration of Annexation.
If interested, please contact either myself, firstname.lastname@example.org, or my colleague, email@example.com.
On Tuesday, December 10, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley will be our Guest Speaker beginning at 6:00PM at the Daniel Island Club. Please join us then!
