A total of 21 homes sold on Daniel Island in July 2010, for an average price of $420,898, bringing to 119 the total number of homes sold year to date.
In terms of inventory, 38 new homes came onto the market in July 2010 – again raising the total inventory. In all of 2010, a total of 265 homes have been listed for sale – a combination of resales and new builder construction. In July 2010, 41 homeowners adjusted their asking price. Following is a complete rundown of July 2010 activity – sales, new listings and price changes. *The average figure should be taken with a grain of salt in that in that it mixes together home sales ranging from $100,000 to over $2 million. So the month in which any given house is sold will significantly affect the average.
