Real Estate on Daniel Island: 116 Home Sales thru November 2009

In November 2009, 11 homes sold here on Daniel Island, bringing to 116 the total number of residences that have sold on the island this year (see accompanying chart). Currently, there are 282 active listings on Daniel Island, 31 under contract and pending. Over the last three months –September-October-November – home inventory continued to grow, with 100 homes newly listed compared with 36 sales, or a ratio of nearly 3:1.

Following is both a quick-look summary chart, followed by a complete list of November 2009 activity – sales, new listings and price changes.

*the average figure should be taken with a grain of salt in that it mixes together home sales ranging from $180,000 to over $2 million. So the month in which any given house is sold will significantly affect the average.
