STEVE FERBER steve@thedanielislandnews.com Daniel Island experienced a dramatic upswing in home sales in April, led by five sales over the $1 million mark, the largest of which was a $2.6 million sale. A quick look at the numbers: · Total revenue – home sales for April 2010 totaled $15.5 million, nearly double the highest monthly over the last 16 months;
· Total home sales – 19 Daniel Island homes sold in April, the highest total since January 2009;
· Inventory – in April 2010, 28 new homes went on the market, compared with 19 sales, thereby adding nine homes to current inventory.
