DIS 8th Graders Named Junior Scholars

Twenty Daniel Island School 8th graders have been named South Carolina Junior Scholars. The students were selected for the honor based on exceptional academic talent. Eligibility is based on a student’s score on the PSAT in verbal, math or writing, and/or his or her participation in the DUKE University Talent Identification Program (TIP) during the 7th grade year. This year’s DIS Junior Scholars are (left to right – top) Evan Wilson, Aaron Dejager, Jackson Pogue, Katie Conley, Alex Mailloux, Trent Pagliarini, Ryan Rothkopf, Mariah Hogan, Alicia Bouchard, Jules Fisher, Bridget Conley, Claire Conway, Isabella Knowles, and Laura Mitten. In the bottom row (left to right) are Timothy Hartzog, Marquis Finney, Nick Murphy, Jordan Johnstone, Donovan Rice, and Austin Berg.
