Daniel Island’s Schettini family founded "Cleats for a Cause" three years ago. Family members are pictured here with resdidents of Columbia in connection with project Puerto Columbia, Barranquilla, Columbia. Cleats for a Cause has donated 400 cleats to soccer lovers in Uruguay, Colombia, Honduras and Okurase, Africa. Recently Matthew Norton, Cleats for a Cause, member was recognized by Youth Service America Recognizes with an Everyday Young Heroes Award for his service to Project OKURASE. The group is now in the process of collecting cleats to send to Jamaica with the Daniel Island Soccer BOYZ U16.
