Patricia Curtis won the top prize for the best tasting pie with her pineapple pecan pie.





In search of a winner. City of Charleston Police Chief Mullin, DeClare Cakes chef Debbie Reed, and City of Charleston Chief of Fire Karen Brack taste the pies.

Second Place: Laura Powell – Lost Nation Cider Pie
Third Place: Kyleen Kelleher – Kyleen’s Poached Pear Custard Pie

Best Presentation

Third Place: Blalock Family – Pecan Pie

The Daniel Island News raised over $200 on 14 pies for Crisis Ministries. Additionally, another $250 will be donated to the winner’s charity of choice.
