Angie Johnson elected VP of Finance for Charleston Trident Association of Realtors

Daniel Island Real Estate Broker Angie Johnson has been elected to serve as Vice President of Finance for the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS; a 4,500 member organization. In this role, she will monitor the financial statements of the Association, present the proposed budget for Board approval, and will oversee the annual audit. The CTAR Board of Directors is comprised of 16 members and is the governing body of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. CTAR is the region’s trusted source for real estate information. Working in partnership with members and the community, CTAR protects private property rights, enforces professional standards, advocates for higher education requirements and encourages technological advances within the industry.

Johnson also serves on the City of Charleston Planning Commission (a nine-member board appointed by Mayor Joe Riley), has served on the Board of Directors for both the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and the South Carolina Association of Realtors, and has been awarded the “Realtor of Distinction – Executive Circle” award for the 13th year in a row. Per MLS statistics, Johnson is ranked in the top 5 agents in Charleston and was once again the top selling agent on Daniel Island, having closed just over $33 million in sales on Daniel Island in 2014. Johnson resides on Daniel Island with her husband, Chad, and three children.
