MARK ERICKSON JOINS COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL’S CHARLESTON OFFICE

Daniel Island resident Mark Erickson, SIOR, a brokerage professional with experience in tenant and landlord representation, has joined the Charleston office of Colliers International | South Carolina as an industrial and office specialist. Erickson, who has been named vice president in Charleston, joins Market President Jim Garrett and office specialist Kristie Roe as the statewide firm builds its presence in the Charleston market.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Erickson has worked in commercial real estate for decades, beginning in commercial property management and development in Atlanta for over 15 years before moving to Charleston. He holds the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) designation and is a candidate for a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Erickson has consistently received recognitions and distinctions in his career, including being named a CoStar Power Broker; receiving the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Charleston’s Realtor of Distinction | Commercial Circle award; winning a Commercial Investment Division (CID) scholarship; and being named the top sales associate for his former firm for five consecutive years.

HITT CONTRACTING SIGNS LEASE TO OCCUPY NEW SPACE ON DI

HITT Contracting, Inc. has signed a lease to occupy 11,582 square feet of space at 216 Seven Farms Drive on Daniel Island. Lee & Associates Charleston’s Pete Harper, CCIM, Reid Davis, CCIM, SIOR and Cameron Yost represented the landlord, GPF-216 Seven Farms, LLC in the lease. The building is now 100 percent leased. HITT Contracting, Inc. was represented by Peter Fennelly, SIOR, MCR, SLCR and Will Crowell with Bridge Corporate Solutions, LLC.

AMPLIFIED AG TO HOST GRAND OPENING

AmplifiedAG (Tiger Corner Farms, Vertical Roots, and Boxcar Central) will host a grand opening of its new location off Clements Ferry Road on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The company plans to introduce its new farmsite and its engineering and manufacturing facility. Family, friends and community members are welcome. The festivities will also include tours, food trucks, and a bounce house for the kids. The site is located at 1008 Clements Crest Lane (suite 130, next to Ace Hardware on Clements Ferry Rd.).

DANIEL ISLAND FERRY

The Daniel Island Ferry will offer limited roundtrip service from Daniel Island to downtown Charleston during the upcoming SEWE Exposition, to be held Sat. Feb. 16 through Sunday, Feb. 17. The ferry will depart from Daniel Island at 10 a.m. and return from the Maritime Center downtown at 4 p.m. Cost is $20 per adult and $12 per child.

A new boat for the Daniel Island Ferry fleet is currently under construction, stated a recent announcement. The delivery is scheduled to coincide with dock upgrades along the Daniel Island waterfront this summer. The new vessel will feature heating and air conditioning, an enclosed passenger area, and all-weather capability. Information on a new commuter service will be released soon, according to the company.
