DI RESIDENT LAUNCHES ISLAND HOUSE REAL ESTATE
Daniel Island resident Tricia Peterson has launched a new brokerage known as as Island House Real Estate. The brokerage opened in December 2018. With the assistance of a full time marketing professional, Island House Real Estate focuses on aggressively marketing client listings and the Charleston community. Peterson spent over 15 years working as a physical therapist, an experience that led to her specialization in selling the Charleston area to new physicians and surgeons moving to the area.
“Meeting people on a weekly basis that have never been to Charleston has been a constant reminder of how lucky we are to live here,” she said.
Over the last few years, Peterson said she has been honored to join forces with Daniel Island contractors and interior designers to reinvent homes into updated modern masterpieces. The company is working to expand these renovation projects throughout Charleston and give buyers alternatives to new construction and remodeling projects.

THEOBALD FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
For the 19th straight year, the office of Dr. David Theobald, Theobald Family Chiropractic, has sponsored a toy drive in order to collect toys for Christmas Commandos. The Commandos is an all-volunteer organization that has existed in the Lowcountry since 1998. The group consists of parents, professionals, and business with a single mission: “Bringing a full Christmas to children who are facing their first Christmas after the loss of a parent due to death.”
Patients of the office who donated new, unwrapped toys received a complimentary adjustment. Dr. Theobald is a resident of Daniel Island.
ISLAND MEDICAL MOVING TO NEW LOCATION ON DI
The Island Medical primary care physician office on Seven Farms Drive on Daniel Island has closed, as the practice prepares to move into a permanent location in new space above Dockery’s.
According to the Island Medical website, the practice is upgrading and expanding its Daniel Island offices. Their new address will be 880 Island Park Drive, Suite 200 and they plan to move in during the first quarter of this year.
