Meet Beau: The new mascot at Monograms DI

As many people may know, Monograms Daniel Island owner Neil Lucado lost her beloved canine companion this summer after a long illness.

Thankfully, Lucado was able to rescue a young chocolate lab named Beau from a hunting preserve. Turns out Beau was not a fan of loud gunshots, so his destiny now is to faithfully welcome and delight custom monogramming and printing patrons at his owner’s shop, which specializes in embroidery and personalized gifts.

Although Beau is less excited for football season to conclude, he is hesitant to wear a Santa hat for very long –– or even to sit still for his first photo shoot. It seems Beau prefers conversing with the ladies at cocktail parties, and deciding exactly what to wear sailing, playing tennis, or sunning by the pool.

For now, the ever-so-adorable Beau is preparing for his first cameo appearance at the store’s Absolutely Fabulous Christmas and Holiday Pop-Up featuring Emilie Dulles and her line of bespoke Dulles Designs holiday photo cards, calligraphy invitations, graduation stationery, and baby announcements. Wine and cheese will be served during the event on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and Thursday, Nov. 7.
