A celebration of Charleston parks

The City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs will present “Posing Possibilities: Drawing Inspiration from and for Charleston’s Parks” at City Gallery Nov. 14 through Dec. 18. This celebration of the beauty of Charleston’s public spaces features the work of Jack Alterman, Janie Ball, Christophe Drumain, Karyn Healey, Alan Jackson, Hirona Matsuda, and Fletcher Williams III. City Gallery will host an opening reception for the exhibition on Nov. 17, from 5 to 7 pm. An artists’ talk with the exhibiting artists will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public. www.citygalleryatwaterfrontpark.com.
