The Charleston Fire Dept. is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter Trainee until July 27. Interested candidates should visit www.charleston-sc.gov/fire to obtain additional information. Questions can be emailed to CFDrecruitment@charleston-sc.gov. Informational sessions will be conducted to provide information on the dept. and the benefits of becoming a firefighter. Attendance is not required in order to be considered for a position. Sessions will be held at Station 9, 1451 King Street Ext. at 9 am July 13 and 3 pm July 20.
