The DI Historical Society will present “Nathanael Greene and the American Revolution” on Thurs., Nov. 15, at the Daniel Island Library, 2301 Daniel Island Drive. Serving as guest speaker will be Leigh Moring, education coordinator for the Historic Charleston Foundation. Ms. Moring is the author of “Nathanael Greene in South Carolina: Hero of the American Revolution.” The book details the forgotten story of General Greene and the liberation of the Lowcountry at the end of the Revolution.
