Giff Daughtridge, vice president and general manager of the Nucor Steel’s Berkeley plant, will be the guest speaker at the Daniel Island Speaker Series event on Wed. April 4. In his role since 2007, Daughtridge manages 930 employees and more than 500 contractors which means that Nucor accounts for 1,500 high-paying jobs in our community.
