The 8th Annual Daniel Island Kids Fishing Tournament, sponsored by the Daniel Island Inshore Fishing Club and presented by Scout Boats, will be held on Sat. June 16 (Father’s Day weekend) at Smythe Park Lake. Children ages 4 to 15 of families who reside or work on Daniel Island are eligible to enter as anglers in the tournament. Eligible species are largemouth bass, panfish, and mullet, all catch and release. Participants will have an opportunity to win a variety of awards and prizes.
