Flooding makes fishing difficult, but opens up time for home repairs and helping others

There are only a few things that will keep me from fishing. A one thousand year rain event and subsequent flood are among them. As such, there is not much to report on the fishing scene.
Looking forward, (for the next few days) I expect fishing and shrimping to be particularly tough. Given the rough conditions, it is a good time clean up and repair our homes. If you are lucky and got through the flood without damage, reach out to others and offer assistance.
