Good deed takes root at DI School & Community Garden

The community gardeners were at the Daniel Island School and Community Garden last weekend for their monthly workday to prepare for the garden’s big Earth Day celebration on April 27. According to volunteer Andrew Harris, a group of Boeing employees happened to hear about the clean-up event on Tapatalk (a social media platform), and they volunteered to help out! “They mowed, mulched, weeded, and cleaned -- all out of the goodness of their hearts,” said Andrew. “They were amazing, and their hard work greatly helped us get the garden ready for Earth Day!” The happy crew members, including Boeing’s helpers, are pictured here.
