Reader thanks ‘kind angel’ who fixed golf cart’s flat tire

One morning last week I had a blowout with the left rear tire while driving my golf cart down Daniel Island Drive. Not wanting to keep driving, I left it there until I could buy a new tire later in the day. About 5:30 that afternoon my neighbor, his jack and tools, a replacement tire and I pulled up behind the cart. Much to our surprise the blown-out tire was on the back seat, and in its place was an already installed replacement. The cart was ready to go. We looked for a note, but there was nothing. None of the neighbors I questioned had seen or knew anything. I am truly grateful to the wonderful but unknown person who did this, and I cannot thank them enough. There are lovely people out there. And, thanks to that kind angel, I hope to pay it forward the first chance I get.
