Mystery Photo Contest - April 23, 2020

The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest is Daniel Island resident Greta Hughey, who correctly identified the picture as the sign for DIG, or Daniel Island Grille, which she described as “an amazing and delicious restaurant on Daniel Island.”

Greta, who has lived on Daniel Island for almost four years, is in third grade. How did she recognize the mystery photo? “We pass by it when we ride our bikes or drive by in the car,” she said.

This wasn’t her first time entering the mystery photo contest, but it was her first time winning! The Hughey family is very good at guessing the mystery pictures — her older sister, Lola, and her younger brother, Foxx, are both previous winners. “I also have a cute baby sister named Francie,” Greta added.

When it comes to what she likes best about Daniel Island, she cited “the amazing community, the pools, and parks.”

During this time at home, Greta is staying busy with school, crafts, and bike riding. “I love to play basketball with my family. I miss seeing my friends,” she said.
