Mystery Photo Contest - February 6, 2020

The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest is Daniel Island resident Nolan Clifford, who correctly identified the picture as the sign for Ristorante LIDI, located at 901 Island Park Drive.

Clifford, 13, is a student at Daniel Island School and has lived here all of his life. He said his favorite subject is Social Studies, and the thing he likes best about Daniel Island is “the ability to walk or ride my bike to school.”

In fact, when asked how he was able to guess the subject in the picture, Clifford said, “I recognized it while riding my bike around the island.”

Either LIDI is a popular restaurant (which we think it is!) or our mystery photo was too easy last week, because we had more than 10 correct responses. The winner was selected in a random tie-breaker. Clifford — who is pictured at left in Ireland during his family’s trip last summer — said this was his first time playing the Mystery Photo Contest.
