Mystery Photo Contest - January 27, 2022

The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest from Jan. 20 is Kae Childs, who correctly identified the picture as part of the sign for Carolina Hearing Services, located on Island Park Drive. 

 

Childs, who moved to Daniel Island from Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms, said, "I absolutely love Daniel Island! It’s a wonderful place to ride bikes and play tennis."

 

The retired career counselor with the Charleston County School District said she was able to recognize the sign because it's very unique. She also teaches Shag, the state dance of South Carolina, and is offering a beginner course at the Daniel Island Recreation Center starting on Feb. 14.  

 

Thanks to Robert Peiffer for pointing out that "the sign is not actually on Island Park Drive, but is on the parking lot side of the building."
