Take 'em to Tom! Qwik Pack & Ship launches book and game buy-back program

At the end of the school year, kids can’t wait to get textbooks out of their hot little hands. At the same time, they may be looking to upgrade their stock of video games for rainy summer days. So, really, Tom Pomposelli’s timing couldn’t be better.

The owner of Daniel Island’s Qwik Pack & Ship has just kicked off a book and game buy-back program. Customers can bring in to the store any new or used textbook, workbook, or game. Tom will look up the ISBN or UPC code with his program software, offer a buy-back price and, if the customer agrees, pay cash on the spot. He handles everything from there, including packaging and shipping at no cost to the customer.

Of course, there are a few general specs for sellers to consider. Games can be from any platform, but must not be damaged. Workbooks may contain pencil marks, but no ink. And textbooks can be sparsely highlighted, but those with missing pages, water damage, and patching with tape cannot be sold.

Questions about the program can be directed to Tom, or anyone else at Qwik Pack & Ship, at (843) 278-0800.
