They did it! Scout's honor!

Boy Scouts from Daniel Island-based Troop 519 gathered on September 9 at Holy Cross Church on Daniel Island for the organization’s largest “Court of Honor” ceremony in the troop’s history. According to Scoutmaster Anthony Duttera, the troop awarded 118 merit badges and promoted nine boys to a higher rank. Former Scoutmaster Julian Levin was recognized for his contributions in taking the troop from less than 10 boys in 2009 to its present 40 member count, for having an additional 13 adults register as Assistant Scoutmasters, and for kicking off the Troop Committee with Bryan Bain as Committee Chair.
