DI resident wins top award at Coastal Carolina Fair art show!

Daniel Island resident/artist Susan Everitt won The Exchange Club Award in the Coastal Carolina Fair Senior Fine Art Show in October. The Senior Fine Art Show is a juried show open to anyone 18 years and up in the Lowcountry. The Exchange Club Award is the highest award given in the Senior Fine Art Show.
Said Susan of the piece, “It is done on scratchboard. Drawn with a scalpel blade. Its title is ‘Yellowbelly’ - it is a marmot. I took my reference photos on a trip to Glacier National Park and just fell in love with the critters!”
