Land use and zoning activities on Daniel Island

These are the issues being brought before the various City of Charleston boards and committees that are specific to land use and zoning on Daniel Island. City of Charleston Technical Review Committee (TRC) — At the most recent meeting on October 18, committee members requested that the construction plans for River Landing Village at the end of River Landing Drive be revised and resubmitted to TRC, and that the required construction activity application, construction stormwater pollution prevention plan, and stormwater technical report be submitted. The next meeting will be held on October 25 and will discuss the construction plans for an open space pavilion at Captain’s Island Drive and the construction plans for a 264-unit apartment development on Robert Daniel Drive.

City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Site Design (BZA-SD) — The next meeting will be held on November 7 with no issues on impact to Daniel Island on the agenda.
