The Pink Flamingos are back!
From April 13-22 DI Young Life (YL) and WyldLife (WL) will be “Flocking” the island once again. Each night, YL/WL committee members and leaders will secretly place a flock of pink flamingos in someone’s yard, resulting in a big surprise for the family when they wake up! Proceeds from the campaign are used to send DI middle and high school students to a YL summer camp. After being flocked, a family can pay (through a donation) to have the flamingos removed, pay to send them to a friend’s house the next evening, and/or pay to get “flocking insurance” so they don’t return. This is a great way to have some fun while raising money for a great cause. Donations are voluntary, and WL leaders will pick up the flamingos regardless of whether or not a contribution has been made.
