PROVIDENCE CHURCH OUTDOOR FOOD DRIVE will be held Sunday, Sept. 20, 2-4 p.m. at the church, 294 Seven Farms Drive. The outdoor, contact-free, drive-thru event benefiting the Lowcountry Food Bank is seeking nonperishable food items, with some items in particular need, such as baby food, canned proteins (peanut butter, canned tuna, canned chicken, canned beans), pasta, grains, rice, cereal, oatmeal, low-sugar canned fruits, and low-salt canned vegetables. PPE-geared volunteers will be available to help safely transfer items from vehicles to food collection containers. For more information contact Rev.
