Jeff Caldwell beats Ray Passailaigue - wins LIDI gift card

Enter by noon on Friday at www.surveymonkey.com/r/5FNCDZH

Jeff Caldwell was one of four people to pick nine of the games correctly in the most recent Pigskin Pick-‘Em Challenge, beating the other three in the tiebreaker and last week’s sponsor, Ray Passailaigue of Backflow Service and Repair.

Jeff moved to Daniel Island last year with his wife Joan from Sunnyvale, CA (Silicon Valley). He performs consulting for companies in the area of cybersecurity and is a local poll manager. He encourages everyone, “Please vote!”

Jeff said via email, “I play Pick-‘Em because The Daniel Island News (DIN) offers it and I just love the DIN and our local businesses. I’ve been trying to join Pick-‘Em since I moved here. I finally got my entry in for the first time last week. Beginners luck? Fun!”

Each week between now and the Super Bowl, readers will be given an opportunity to “Beat the Sponsor” and to win great prizes. We will email a link to the survey every Tuesday via a Daniel Island News e-blast and we will also put the URL link on our Facebook page as well as here in the paper. To be eligible to win, you must select your entries online by noon on Friday. There is no cost to enter – it’s free! If you’d like to be added to our e-blast list, please send your email address to katherine@thedanielislandnews.com.

To enter this week, go to www.surveymonkey.com/r/5FNCDZH.

Each week, we will also include a running win-loss record for each of our sponsors and the paper will donate $500 to the charity of choice of the sponsor who has the best overall win-loss record at the end of the season. Cara Schaafsma has a one point lead over defending champion Brad Rose.

This week you compete against Dr. Jimmy of Daniel Island Chiropractic for an opportunity to win a $50 gift certificate to Daniel Island Grille.
