Jennifer Roman beats Millennium Private Wealth, wins LIDI gift card
Jennifer Roman is the winner of this week’s Pigskin Challenge. Jennifer was one of four people to pick 10 games correctly and beat Millennium Private Wealth, who went 9-2 for the week (one of the high school games was cancelled). Jennifer won the tiebreaker by picking the exact point spread in the Houston/New England game. One person picked 11 games correctly but failed to include his or her name or contact info (if you don’t fill out the contact info, we can’t figure out who you are).
Each week from now until the Super Bowl, readers will be given the opportunity to “Beat the Sponsor” and to win great prizes. We will email a link to the survey each Monday via a Daniel Island News eblast and we will also put the URL link on our Facebook page and here in the paper. To be eligible to win, you must select your entries online by noon on Friday. There is no cost to enter. If you’d like to be added to our eblast, please send your email address to email@example.com.
To enter, go to www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZMK7VG8 and fill out your ballot.
Each week, we will also include a running win-loss record for each of our sponsors and the paper will donate $500 to the charity of choice of the sponsor who has the best overall win-loss record at the end of the season. In the sponsor competition, Steve Meyer and Jeff Burton of Millennium Private Wealth maintain their first place standing, with most of the other competition stacked up closely right behind them. Sponsor Rosie Stieby of Daniel Island Real Estate had the best sponsor showing last week, picking 10 correct games.
This week you compete against Rosie Stieby for an opportunity to win a $50 gift certificate to Vespa.
