Patrick Thomas beats Noell, wins Sermet's gift card

Patrick Thomas is this week’s winner of the Football Pick ‘Em. Eighteen contestants beat Noell Smith but Patrick was the only one to pick 11 games correctly.

Patrick works at Blackbaud and lives on Daniel Island with his wife Tracey and their golden retriever, Maddux. He explained that his wife is on staff with Young Life and together they lead Wyldlife on Daniel Island.

“I play the pick ‘em because I love football and getting to pick the games, and it gives me a reason to watch every game,” he said.

Sponsor Stephen Bartus recently changed jobs and could no longer sponsor the contest - Daniel Island News publisher Sue Detar is his replacement for the remainder of the competition.

Each week from now until the Super Bowl, readers will be given the opportunity to “Beat the Sponsor” and to win great prizes. We will email a link to the survey each Tuesday via a Daniel Island News eblast and we will also put the URL link on our Facebook page and here in the paper.
