They've got spirit, yes they do!

Let’s hear it for the Iron Horses cheerleaders! The Philip Simmons High School JV and Varsity Cheer Team participated in the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Camp this summer. They learned proper stunt techniques, game day cheers, band dances and bonded as a team. Throughout the week the cheerleaders brought home Spirit Awards and a Superior ribbon. They ended the week with a performance in the TD Arena and winning Most Improved Overall. According to PSHS head cheerleading coach Ellyn Bowen, a highlight of the experience was when two of the varsity squad members were named All-American cheerleaders and awarded the opportunity to perform in London.

“As their coach, I’m proud of this team’s hard work and willingness to work together to be their best!” said Bowen.
