Wando River Beach Sweep

Join Daniel Island resident Nick DeFazio for a Beach Sweep of the Wando River shoreline on Daniel Island on Sat. Jan. 21, from 9-11 am. Nick is spearheading this clean-up initiative as part of his 8th grade IB project at Christ Our King Stella Maris School. Anyone interested in joining this community effort can meet in the parking lot to the right of Pierce Park Pool at 9 am. The group will then travel along the trail to the area near Children’s Park at the Wando River dock, picking up trash and other debris along the way. Contact: rdefazio@bellsouth.net.
