Look Who’s Here: 186 Seven Farms Drive
In the middle of Daniel Island, 186 Seven Farms Drive is more than a shopping stop; it’s a daily destination.
Built in 2008, 186 Seven Farms Drive is one of the buildings that make up the 88,800-square-foot Publix-anchored complex, bringing together restaurants, retail, and essential services. It makes it one of the island’s most frequented spots – a place where errands, meals, and community routines intersect.
Tenants occupying the space include:
Side by side at this address, Ali Baba Deli & Catering and the recently opened Wings Co. share more than just a wall; they share an owner, Samir Elzabidi, with deep ties to food and family tradition.
Ali Baba has been a Daniel Island staple since 2009, serving Mediterranean favorites like chicken shawarma, gyros, kebabs, and more than 40 fresh salads displayed in large deli coolers. The Elzabidi family’s recipes, passed down through generations, remain at the core of the restaurant’s success.
“We love sharing fresh Mediterranean flavors with our neighbors,” said Elzabidi, who moved to the United States from Jordan in 1990. “Serving Daniel Island isn’t just about food for us; it’s about being part of a growing, supportive community that truly feels like home.”
Earlier this year, Elzabidi expanded his footprint with Wings Co., the island’s only wing-focused eatery. The quick-service restaurant specializes in crispy wings, hand-breaded chicken tenders, and bold flavors inspired by Carolina traditions.
“At Wings Co., we enjoy bringing people together over fun food and great game-day vibes,” Elzabidi said. “At both restaurants, we take pride in using fresh ingredients, serving high-quality food, and making sure our guests enjoy quick and friendly service. What we enjoy most is seeing familiar faces return and getting to know the families who live and work here.”
Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a popular stop for made-to-order smoothies, wraps, flatbreads, and acai bowls, offering dine-in and carryout meals. Many families swing by after school for refreshing favorites like the Island Green or Sunrise Sunset.
Owner Jon Parkman said the smoothies and snacks here “fuel your body and brighten your day.”
“I love the genuine sense of connection on Daniel Island,” Parkman said. “People here truly support local businesses, value healthier choices, and create a welcoming atmosphere that feels like family. It's rewarding to serve great food and smoothies to neighbors who care.”
The UPS Store provides residents and businesses with packing, shipping, printing, and mailbox services, along with a focus on personalized customer care.
Owned by Todd and Julie Erickson, the duo called the store their "baby" and said they bought it after a five-minute visit stroll around the store and nearby waterfront.
“We had no idea we were buying a store in such a great community,” Julie Erickson said. “Our customers are kind, patient, and appreciative. Customer service is the most important thing we request of all our employees, as we want our customers to be taken care of as efficiently as possible. We enjoy riding our bikes or walking and seeing our customers everywhere.”
House of Sage, a boutique owned by husband-and-wife team Chris and Erin Abagnale, brings effortlessly chic, boho-inspired fashion to Daniel Island.
Known for affordable and on-trend pieces, the store offers a mix of unique styles that appeal to a wide range of shoppers while emphasizing the value of shopping local.
