The businesses located at 295 Seven Farms Drive encapsulate Daniel Island’s vibrant retail and office commercial district. Built in 2002, the mixed-use building is three stories tall and holds approximately 24,000 square feet of office and retail space.
Postal Haus is a locally owned shipping and business service center run by Daniel Island residents Renee and George Gutzwiller. Beyond UPS, FedEx, and United States Postal Service shipping, the shop offers professional packing, printing, mailbox rentals, notary services, shredding, key cutting, and Renee’s stationery line, which is sold in more than 250 retailers nationwide.
“We get to help our neighbors out through life’s big and small moments – sending care packages to grandchildren, shipping college move-in boxes, notarizing important documents, or simply making someone’s busy day a little easier,” Renee said. “It’s rewarding to own a business where relationships matter and where familiar faces become friends.”
Shred America Charleston is a veteran-owned information destruction company providing secure document shredding, hard drive destruction, and records management for businesses and residents.
“Working with local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and residents gives us the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping protect sensitive information,” said asset manager Kiley Mattson.
Osupurē Karate has been part of Daniel Island since 2003, teaching traditional Wado Ryu Karate to students from age 3 through adulthood.
“Karate is for everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive limitations. We do not teach how to fight. We teach how to control one’s actions and emotions to avoid fighting,” owner Sensei Glenn Raus said.
Raus said the best part of doing business on Daniel Island is seeing the kids in his dojo grow into wonderful young adults.
Orlando’s Pizza has served hand-tossed New York-style pizza baked in a brick oven alongside pasta and salads since 2004. Its dough and sauces are made in-house using original family recipes.

Hill Construction is a commercial general contractor founded in 1956 that relocated to Daniel Island in 2002. The company provides pre-construction, design/build, construction management, and general contracting services and has completed several island projects, including the Daniel Island Recreation Center.
