DI cub scout pack reels in good times

Daniel Island Cub Scout Pack 519 held its annual fishing tournament on June 12 at Smythe Lake. Young anglers carried their bait, lures and rods around the park in search of the perfect perch for reeling in their catch. About 30 scouts, including some siblings, participated in the tournament, which was the last cub scout event before the summer break. Tommy Michi landed the biggest fish, a 7-inch BlueGill.
