Tyler Heffernan beats Mingledorff & Patterson, wins $50 to New York Butcher Shoppe
Tyler Heffernan pulled off a tiebreaker to take the win with a 10-2 score over Mingledorff & Patterson’s 8-4 score in last week’s Pigskin Pick’em Football Contest.
Tyler, along with his wife and two dogs, moved to the St. Thomas Island area a few months ago after living on Johns Island for about four years. “We love our new location in Charleston, and you might find me running on the Daniel Island trails,” Tyler wrote in an email. “I love high-fiving all the fellow runners out there, and I hope that catches on as a Daniel Island tradition.”
His prize featured a $50 gift card to the New York Butcher Shoppe.
He added, “I’m enjoying this Pigskin Pick'em victory, especially since I finished 3-10 in my fantasy football league this season — even after having the No. 1 draft pick. So, this is a little redemption for me.”
