An excellent choice

With a special election for Charleston City Council scheduled for Jan. 11, 2022, I would like to recommend one candidate for this office. Shawn Pinkston is an excellent choice for this very important position.

Shawn has been a steadfast supporter of fundamental conservative principles and is a longtime resident of our district. Over the years, He has openly fought to make sure that the promises that the city has made to our district were kept, and he is still fighting for highway improvements that are sorely needed.

As a husband, father, veteran and an active member of the Republican Party, he knows the needs of our city, and, as a lawyer, he possesses the skills needed to represent us well.

Please remember these two important things:

1. Be sure to use your God-given right to vote on Jan. 11, 2022.

2. Vote for the best candidate for the job, Shawn Pinkston.
