Engine lights

 

When you’ve been on this planet over eight decades and your children have become senior citizens, you know you’re getting old even though your mind still tries to convince you that you’re only 20. However, you know that’s a lie because your mind has been writing checks for years that your body can’t cover.

 

Then there are the engine lights that come on to warn you of a medical problem like high blood pressure, or a heart or plumbing problem, but when you get one engine light to go out, another one comes on to take its place. However, don’t despair, just watch TV more often as there are drugs and pills advertised that can cure anything so you can tell your doctor which ones to use to keep your engine lights off.  

 

And remember, “Old age is not for sissies!”
