Jon Cassella beats Gabe Jolly, wins gift card to Wasabi

Jon Cassella won the NFL Conference Championship Pick ’Em round with a 6-6 record. He beat sponsor Gabe Jolly of Carolina One, who had a 5-7. Cassella also won the tiebreaker to take home the prize.

Cassella and his wife, originally from Pittsburgh, moved to Charleston two and a half years ago.

“These past championship games were very entertaining to watch! I felt the Chiefs and 49ers would both come out victorious and luckily my picks for those games held true,” he said. “I’m a somewhat closeted ‘Swiftie’ (I guess not so much now) so there was no way I could see the Chiefs losing with Taylor Swift (and maybe the NFL) behind them.”

“Due to this reason and my secret Taylor Swift fandom, I predict the Chiefs will lift the Lombardi Trophy once again and talk of a dynasty to be seriously considered.”
