SAM VILLEGAS - A majestic sunset over The Phil provides an added spotlight for last weekend's renewed Friday Night Lights' rivalry.

After a two-year game break, both Bishop England and Philip Simmons High Schools returned to the same field to continue their Daniel Island football rivalry on Friday, September 4.

A full house welcomed the teams as they met at The Phil in a tight game that saw the Bishops outlast the Iron Horses 20-13. Bishop England earns bragging rights and now leads the series 5-3.

Next year, the teams will meet again, this time at BE's Jack Cantay Stadium.
