February 2019 Real Estate Report
A total of 16 homes sold on Daniel Island in February. As of March 8, 2019, there were 194 homes for sale with 130 active and 64 under contract. Sales equaled $11,130,138 in February, which is a slight increase from January sales. The most expensive home sold was a 6BR/7BA home on Watroo Point in Daniel Island Park. It sold for $1.925 million. The least expensive home sold was a 1BR/1BA condo on Bucksley Lane for $145,000.
After a slowdown in the market last fall, there was a bit of uncertainty with how the market would fare in the new year. Renee Pote, with Iron Gate Realty, seems optimistic about the Daniel Island market in the coming months. “We are seeing great activity now after having a slow October and November last year,” said Pote. “Inventory is increasing and so is activity. This is a good time to sell if you are going to sell.”
