Remembering the year and the last quarter century

In this edition of The Daniel Island News, as we close out 2021, we take a look at the top news stories of 2021 (pages 2, 7, 10, 11) and top sports stories of the year (see page 17). What a year it’s been!

 

Our nostalgia doesn’t stop at reviewing 2021. The centerfold story features the 25th anniversary of the development of Daniel Island from farmland, fields and forest to the active community and town it is today. We encourage you to enjoy the historical photos of the island on this page and to read about the early neighborhoods and residents, the quarter century of the progress of the town as well as the vision and dream of the development team.
