Spirits were soaring at the Daniel Island Library on February 8 as several birds of prey popped in for an educational session hosted by Lowcountry Raptors. Leading the show was Lowcountry Raptors Founder Lila Arnold, who brought along Great Horned Owls, a Turkey Vulture and a Swainson’s Hawk. Audience members learned about the lifestyle and habits of their visiting feathered friends, including information on raptor rehabilitation.
