In April 2025, 25 homes sold on Daniel Island, with total sales for the month amounting to $51,217,200.
As of June 9, 2025, there were 104 homes listed for sale: 66 active listings and 38 under contract.
The most expensive home sold in April was at 170 Balfour Drive for $5,995,000. The least expensive home sold was at 130 River Landing Drive, Unit 7116, for $330,000.
Tricia Peterson of Island House Real Estate said with the future of the economy a bit uncertain, homes are not selling as quickly as in prior months.
“Despite still being a sellers market on Daniel Island,” Peterson said, “we have felt more resistance from buyers – and lower offer prices – fueled by economic uncertainty, rising prices, high interest rates, and homes sitting on the market longer.”
With home listings sitting on the market longer, Peterson said it may be an opportunity for buyers they haven’t seen in a few years. “Like the old adage says, ‘patience is a virtue,’ and although this may seem like the market is showing signs of distress, we are just returning to a more normal market.”
