August showed a small drop in Daniel Island home sales compared to the previous month as buyers purchased 18 homes compared to 23 in July.
Six of the properties sold were priced under $800,000, with the remaining 12 selling at $1.2 million and higher. The highest-selling home was 27 Watroo Point at $5.3 million. The lowest: 130 River Landing Drive, Unit 7106, at $292,000.
As of Sept. 15, 56 homes are up for sale and 31 are under contract.
“This tells us properties are selling,” said Renee Reinert of Carolina One Real Estate.
Of those 31 homes under contract, eight are under $1 million, 16 are priced between $1 million and $3 million, with the remaining selling at $3 million or more.
“We are seeing more price adjustments with prices continuing to slightly adjust down a little more,” Reinert said.
“Price that home according to the market, and it will sell.”
