Snow much fun!
A Southern surprise of snowfall showered the Lowcountry on the night of Jan. 21, leaving smiling kids of all ages, waking up to the rare accumulation of white stuff on everything from backyards and cars to driveways, streets, and parks.
The Charleston area received anywhere from one to four inches of snow by Jan. 22, shutting down schools and government offices for the week while allowing for a few days of wintertime fun.
