Arthur Lane outdrives Pick 'Em players, beats Chris Buchholz of Par Paradise

Arthur Lane won't have to worry about eating turkey leftovers after winning a $50 gift card to the NY Butcher Shoppe.

The Daniel Island resident picked 10 of 12 games correctly and also nabbed the tiebreaker, not only beating the online field and VIP sponsor Chris Buchholz of Par Paradise, who went 9-3, but also taking down his friendly, nearby competition.

"I play Pigskin to beat my neighbor," Lane joked via email. "He’s gotten a little full of himself with his Indiana Hoosiers playing well, so this should knock him down a peg. $50 to NY Butcher is the cherry on top."

Lane, his wife, and his daughter have resided on Daniel Island for seven of the 10 years they've lived in the Lowcountry.

"Started in an apartment shortly after Simmons Park opened, bought a house in Park Circle, and then moved back to the island in Etiwan Park four years ago after having our daughter," he said.
